My name is Debbie, your run of the mill stay-at-home Mompreneur. My entrepreneurial journey started when I was in primary school. Friends wanted the roller ball lip gloss I had. So, seeing an opportunity I started selling them. Pretty soon the headmaster called me into his office to explain I can’t sell it in school any more. Not wanting to lose out on pocket money, I simply sold them outside the school grounds before school.
My lifestyle affords me the time to spend time with my children making memories instead of having them after care. I decided to be a “working from home” mom long before the virus made it the norm. My income has steadily increased through it all.
This journey has inspired me to study further. At the age of 41, I have just completed my BSC in Natural Medicine enabling me to be able to help more people.
The entrepreneur in me has always been excited by the mention of an opportunity with a possible solution to a common problem. I have found opportunities with companies that resonate with me.
I help people who, like me, want to make a little extra money or who need to replace what they have lost. In this uncertain world our salaries are no longer guaranteed and multiple income streams is a necessity.
As Richard Branson said “If somebody offers you an amazing opportunity but you are not sure you can do it, say yes – then learn how to do it later!” this philosophy has helped me achieve more than I ever thought possible.
